Welcome Message

One of my favorite things to say in the classroom is, "Let’s keep the learning going & keep practicing math." Keep writing the stories, keep looking up the amazing places, keep reading about events in history, or in space for that matter!

You are still a student with a brain that requires knowledge. Take this time at home to fill that beautiful brain of yours! When I see you again, I want to hear all about what you have learned and the time spent with your amazing families. Please contact me if I can be of any assistance.

About the Teacher

My name is Jacquelyn Hearn-Bell and I teach 4th grade Mathematics & Science. This is my 8th year with the DeSoto County School District, I have a total of 19 years of educational experience. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi Valley State University, in which I was amongst the top of my graduating class. I received my Master's of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, graduating also at the top of my class. My hobbies include traveling, shopping, cooking, gardening, volunteering! I LOVE getting to make an impact in the lives of students! Education & the relationships I make with my students and parents are very important parts of my life. Without a doubt, I know I am fulfilling my purpose and am extremely proud to be a Quistor! #QUISTORPRIDE #OBPRIDE
