Week of March 23-27, 2020

Parents and students, you should hear from your classroom teachers by March 25 about assignments that have been posted on their websites. The assignments are going to be review in nature, just to keep the skill levels where they were before this break. School is out until April 17 per our superintendent. We don't know what will happen past that date at this time. Changes are being made daily, sometimes hourly, so please be patient. My website announcements will change as information is passed down to teachers. I hope you are all well and safe, and staying in as advised by our state health department. Parents now have my personal cell phone number, please contact me when you have a question.

Week of April 6-10

Parents and students, T4 (4th 9 weeks) goes live Monday, April 6.  If you are in a T4 class (ex. Zoology II, Economics, etc.) your work packet is going to be ready to pick up Monday.  Read the instructions carefully, call me if you need clarification on any thing.  We will get through this together!  If you have Mrs. Pafford for SREB Lit or Eng IV, she is sending out Reminds and assignments are on her website.  Our goal is to make the next few weeks as easy as possible.  All work packets are due May 1stAll work from April 6 on is for a grade!!  I am available from 8-5 to answer questions, offer distance tutoring, etc.  We can Zoom or FaceTime if we need to!  Mrs. Wood has the Counselor's Newsletter for April available on her website.  There is very good information there that could answer general questions.

Stay calm, stay in, be well!!

Week of April 13-17

Parents and students, T4 is live and you should be working on assignments that you have found on your teacher's websites, or a packet from the school that your teachers have left out for you.   If you have any problems getting assignments in either form, please let me or Mrs. Taggart know and we will find a way to get them to you.

Some of you are finding that you have been dropped from classes.  Mrs. Wood went through each senior schedule and dropped those students that didn't need the class/credit to graduate this year.  This is for you to be able to focus on what is needed to finish and graduate.

A decision is supposed to be made tomorrow by the state as to how we will proceed with this school year.  Pay attention to announcements and notifications of this kind.  I will send out a mass text and email to all of my students/parents.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Holiday. I pray you are all well and safe!  Please continue to follow recommendations of social distancing and staying in so we can get back to a healthier community!  I miss you all!!
